My unforgetable attachment memories~

Hai korang budak pandai!...


 Harini entry saya pasal attachment saya yg haritu saya buat 18 Jun 2012 sampai 20 July 2012 haritu dekat hospital besar melaka.. I got 5 weeks doing my attachment.. sgt seronok sbb i got to learn alot of things and practices alot.. it do sharpens my skill..
 Actually supposed to be my attachment date is 3weeks, starting of 2th July till 20th July 2012... a little bit late with my other 2 partners, farah ika & diyana sbb atas masalah2 teknikal..so, i started late.. mula2 tu takut, so i follow both of them.. They start at 18th June.. 3 weeks.. dekat department medicine... 
Wooahh.. U know guys? the 1st day i wore the white coat rounding around the hospital(it does not mean i do not do anything, but i follow few H.O doing their jobs around)..
Haha.. it sounds funny to those seniors who expert doing these jobs (as they are well-expert with the surrounding of the hospital), but i don't care! i just wanna learn.. it's better to start from a zero knowledge than none! 
At the medicine department, there are 4 wards.. we started at ward A2.. Geneatric ward..so, bila ckp psl geneatric, kita mmg akn well-know semua patient2 dlm tu adlh org2 tua... huhuhu... our 1st day register with the head department mmg kelakar.. haha..mana x nya.. kita org bertiga dgn sempoinya, xpakai white coat, then we introduce ourselves, and he even asked us what we wanna do, then we just answer; "We wanna follow you doing round", he just laugh and said: "You guys hah, wahhh,,,the most sempoi group and unadventerous group i ever met"..hahha.. berdegup jantung time tu... serious.. we are just 2&3rd year student(on that time), with zero basic clinical knowledge, jarang2 masuk hospital, nk sentuh patient? huhhu... we just kept quite and wore our coat... that's the most unforgettable memory i ever forget.. 
but then, after 2-3 days, lepas dah kenal2 dgn H.O-H.O, staff2 nurses, M.O-M.O, we get used to the environment.. we even already memorised the name of every patients... ada 31 beds total dkt ward tu.. lelaki & perempuan diasingkan.. ada 2cubes.. 1cube under M.O Dr. Theeba..she is quite garang, badan besar2 sikit... on the 1st day i follow her around, she mad at me! perghh.. masa time tu pulak wrong timing.. i know that dlm hati nk je bukak file patient tgk history taking patient, tp sbb debar sgt, saya xberani... xpe..tu semua 1st day je... lps 2-3 hari, we love to stay there.. betapa masa 1st day kita org takut sgt2, kita org pon balik pkl 5 ptg! gila kentang! huhuhuhu.. but then, 2nd day dan seterusnya, xde maknanya nk blk pkl 5...pkl 2/3 tu dah chow dah..hehe..

kat sinilah kita org "check-in"..hehehe...hari2 menghadap tempat ni...hihi

yang bestnya, kita org dpt jumpa doktor Thiru.. He is really a good guy.. dia lah yang bagi kita org ambil darah, buat mcm2 dkt patients..hehe.. we done IFA, GDR(kinds of forms), plus mcm2 lagi...kita org dpt communicate well dgn patiens..byk kisah dpt kita org blajar..agk sedih + pilu mula2nya bila dgr kisah pakcik-makcik ni...most of them dari rumah warga tua... sedih bilamana one the Questionnaire form tu tanya; ada x relatives yg dtg ziarah? sedih... bila tgk muka pakcik-makcik ni, semua muka tabah... semua muka dah xmahu mengharap pd anak2 yg xberguna tu lagi... sedih... but i do learn alot from them...

1week we stay there..byk jenis penyakit kita org dpt blajar n how to manage...walaupon xsemua, at least we learn.. step by steps, lama2 pandai & mahir..(that's what i hold..a word that i learned from a SISTER-senior staff nurse)

But, i more important thing jugak yg saya bljr, if u don't know, just say u don't know.. jgn memandai2, sbb every patients believe in every words of those who wear white coat.. REMEMBER! The white coat is not an ordinary coat...Once you wear, you hold a big responsibility.. kalau x,,,,hmmm,, mmg naya.. patient boleh jadi psycho..huhhuhu...

the next week to dia org berdua pergi ward C2..but me, i took vacation..hehe..

tggu sampai 2th July i registered dkt department O&G pulak...hehe.. didi & farah, dorg follow saya...just for 2-3 days...it's quite fun, very challenging ang tough dkt department ni... huhuhu.. 

On the 1st day jugak, i met 2 new attachment mate, Amar Zhafran(my uni mate) & Satish Sharma(Russian Medical Academy)... 

But guys, sorry, saya x sempat nk ambil gmbr dgn dorang..

Fuhh.. 1day, on the 1st day je, kita org dpt tgk 9normal baby delivery, 1 caesarrian(ectopic pregnancy with ruptured uterine artery)..huhu..mmg hebat...PLUS,,!! Penat... 

2nd day, i got to learn how to take a CTG and to differentiate foetus weeks.. actually benda ni simple je..tp sbb dia subjek 5th year, so, i still think it as a great thing to know... dari foetus movement, kita boleh predict the baby weight..

I also got to learn mcm mana cara2 nk take patient history taking.. berbeza antara normal patient dgn materna... berbeza sgt2.. i got to know what is Os, Vagina taking, fundus (utk tahu baby position), NBM tu ape( actually short form of nil by mouth je)...tp sbb singkat sgt, plus kita ni pon xbljr lagi, so, agk blurr sikit...@_@... 

Hari pertama register pon, kita org follow speacialist round...dpn2 mata dpt tgk "drama reality" doc-to-be(H.O) ni kena marah, kena kutuk....fuhh..mmg tabahlah dorg ni...kalau x kuat mental, mmg boleh jadi gila dibuatnya... so, i learn, we must refer to Allah..don't take granted with whatever these speacialist say... think it +vely...

I also dpt tgk umbilicus...benda simple je pon...ok, let us see it..

5 days at home sweet home, Malaysia =)

Assalamualaikum...

Hai guys! It's already tuesday, 5th of June 2012... it's been 5days already at home since i safely arrived & touch down to Kuala Lumpur International Airport a.k.a KLIA... 

 It's been quite a good days spending the times at home..but it's quite a boring and, u know...we also a human though u know, we all are meds students, but we do have some enjoy life that we wanna spend together with the loved one... hurrmmm, but it's quite sad when normal people look at you that you are tooo "free"... The words "free" here i put ".." to show how i am actually not free at all.. means...MEDs=BOOKS... 

U know...read...book, read...all the time, read!! 24th hours.. Read!!! that's what people always think about us..BUT! we are not at all bookworm! yes! we do necessary to read...but we are not machine... come on babe! we also wanna have freedom life... wanna have a break.... yes.. just like me... i spend my free time sometimes by blogging.. others do other things... so, different people, different ways, right? at least we got something benefits from what we do... hurmmm.... don't ever say, since i got back at home, i won't open my book..yes! i do... just read it yesterday... alhamdulillah...i can adapt myself to airplane post travelling jetlag...i just need 1day to recover fast...:) thanks god! feeling greatful.. but, however, i still feel, i'm staying at home quite bored...yes... when i think again, mEDs=boOkwORm...YES! that's the fact... & it's proven...

 Just like this baby... sleep with book.. it's nice actually =)

so, i just googling up to search, & read back all about the anatomy(not mean that i am hardworking)- just to prepare myself from forgetting what i have already learnt before this...reviewing back about anatomy, physiology, all the arteries, the anatomical structures and reading little bit about 3rd year subjects- pharmacology & microbiology.. it's quite scary & feeling frustated when what you read before this though you just only forget it a little..but yet you still feel you're like a stupid person..but then, still don't give-up! try keep trying on... read, memorise & speak it again to test how's your brain functioning...

Hai! today, i'm gonna go to my ex-batch mate wedding... I never thought that she's not married yet.. at 1st i thought that she is already married... suits with her characteristics... but, actually, marriage does not only for those who has fulfill the terms of a wife/husband, as long as she/he is ready for the responsibilities, they are all ready..including me..but me, i'm not yet...i have to score 1st then i can ask my mother about marriage.. show your responsibilities to them to get the green light...
